Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 28, 2026
1. Introduction
Previse ("we," "our," or "us") is a company organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our web application and services (collectively, the "Service").
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash). If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is processed by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
Usage Data
We collect data about how you interact with the Service, including search phrases, selected locations, signal interactions (views, pins, hides, feedback), and enrichment requests. This data is used to improve result quality and personalize your experience.
Automatically Collected Information
We may collect IP addresses, browser type, device information, and referring URLs through standard server logs. We use HTTP-only session cookies for authentication.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process transactions and manage your subscription
- Deliver relevant business signals based on your configured phrases and locations
- Improve our relevance algorithms using aggregated, anonymized feedback
- Send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts)
- Respond to support inquiries
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following cases:
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), Anthropic (LLM extraction), Google (search APIs), and enrichment providers (Hunter.io, Google Places) process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
- CRM integrations: When you connect HubSpot or Salesforce, signal data you explicitly push is sent to those platforms under your OAuth authorization.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, subpoena, or legal process.
5. Cookies
We use HTTP-only session cookies solely for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Session cookies expire when you log out or after a period of inactivity.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and associated signals for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted data at rest, bcrypt password hashing, HTTP-only session cookies, and row-level data isolation by user. CRM OAuth tokens are encrypted using Fernet symmetric encryption. For more details, see our Security page.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Export your signal data via CSV
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@previse.dev.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
